How to Handle a Church Leader Who Doesn’t Seem to “Get It” – Jason Johnson

On August 20th, 2014, some of the leading thinkers in foster care gathered in Oklahoma City to share ideas and experiences that are making a difference throughout the country. The presentations and discussions from this important symposium were captured on video to be utilized as resources designed to equip a team of passionate people in any church to be wise and thoughtful foster care advocates.

With over 13 years of ministry experience Jason is passionate about equipping and mobilizing the Church to live out the mandate of God in this world. As a frequent writer and speaker on issues of foster care, adoption and child welfare, Jason’s passion comes from his own childhood story, his heart for the Church and from his personal experience as a licensed foster and adoptive parent.

Jason serves as the Church Engagement Officer with Arrow Foundation, is the creator of ALL IN Orphan Care and blogs regularly at jasonjohnsonblog.com. He and his wife Emily currently live in the Houston, TX area with their four daughters, the youngest adopted through the foster care system in December 2013.
